Education: Learning is universal, a process in motion.

Juliette is a 12 year old. She rises at 5 a.m. every morning to tend to the live stock before she makes her way to school. But today is different for Juliette. Today she, along with her classmates will journey miles away from her village of Petite Bordel to meet students in Dakar, Senegal. She will greet them in the traditional Muslim manner “Asalaam Malekuum” and hear them reply “Malekuum Salaam”. Sitting in a classroom in Barrouallie she crosses cultural divides and escapes the borders and structural limitations of her environment in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Technologies have allowed us to create a world of ambassadors with an agenda of global unification of peoples and possibilities.

Today’s classrooms are no longer defined by the walls, chairs or desk. Technology has reshaped the class room and redefined the concept of teacher and student. Professors or teachers no longer need to be in the student's immediate vicinity. Now, the lectures of a Yale, Oxford and UWI professor are heard across continents. Solving world issues through collaboration has become the norm for emerging generations.

As we begin to improve the world, the need for access to this technology is dire. Access to such technology must be everywhere, all the time. Ideas don’t sleep!
